Privacy Policy

The short version: Octofill collects nothing, sends nothing, and never connects to the internet. There are no ads, no analytics, no trackers, and no third-party code. Everything you do stays on your device.

Information we collect

None. Octofill does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. There is no account, no sign-in, and no way for the app to identify you.

Information stored on your device

To make the game work, Octofill saves a few things locally on your iPhone using iOS's standard on-device storage:

  • Player profiles you create — the name, emoji, and colour you choose.
  • High scores and your in-progress game.
  • Your sound and haptics preferences.

This information never leaves your device. We cannot see it. Deleting a profile removes that profile's data, and deleting the app removes all of it.

Names and content you enter

Profile names and avatars are chosen by you for your own use on your own device. They are not transmitted anywhere and are not visible to us or anyone else.

Network and tracking

Octofill makes no network connections. It does not use the Apple advertising identifier, does not request tracking permission, and contains no advertising, analytics, or third-party SDKs.

Children's privacy

Octofill is suitable for all ages and is designed to be shared with children. Because it collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date above. Since the app collects nothing, we don't anticipate material changes.
